Cycling with the whole family

The well signposted cycling track (R3) leads through small villages, past old farmsteads or inns, where regional specialities and homemade produce are served. The view of the surrounding mountain world of the Carnic Alps and Gailtal Alps is sensational. Along the track, you will come across places of interest and tourist attractions like the Garnitzen Ravine, the Museum of Local History and Folklore at Schloss Möderndorf or the first Carinthian Theme Park at Lake Pressegger See.

The combination of train and bicycle is ideal for families with children. You travel comfortably by train - the bicycles travel in an extra carriage - to Kötschach-Mauthen where you begin the cycling tour along the cycling track.
You end the cycling tour at your own convenience as getting back on the train is possible at any time.
